There’s something an editor can always notice when cutting a scene: talent. I’ve mentally blocked out scenes where the female performer looks as if she’d rather be anywhere but set.

Those ladies typically don’t last long, and even the most hardcore of porn fans won’t remember them. Additionally, as a seasoned production assistant (hold your applause), I could immediately tell when a girl has “aura”. Or “It”. From the moment she arrives at the location to the moment she bids us farewell. I have a sixth sense about whether or not she will have a long shelf life in adult video.
Enter Harley Love.
I got Harley’s raw files earlier this year from the Roman gladiator Romeo Mancini. The Cock Swinger from the Colosseum had shot Harley for a scene at TheDickSuckers. I immediately knew the members were in for a treat the second our state-of-the-art cameras captured Harley. From the interview to the scene itself. This must have been what it felt like when scouts first saw Peyton Manning play college ball. By the way, go Broncos!

I have no doubt that Harley has a bright future in the industry. It’s days like these when I miss being on set. And I think I still owe her a visit to the Cheesecake Factory.
But that might soon change.
