Anyway, I first learned about digitizing content in late 2003, with the help of Chico Wang. He showed me how to capture scenes from DVDs, assemble a timeline, and export it. Oh, can\u2019t forget the watermark. Eventually, he trusted me to cut scenes where I performed because he \u201ctrusted\u201d me. Trust is huge when a director knows their content is in good hands. It\u2019s a bond and trust that should not be taken for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, I later got brought on board by Billy Watson to edit for his network of sites, Manojob,<\/a><\/strong> TheDickSuckers<\/a><\/strong>, and MrPOV.<\/a><\/strong>He knew that I edited for Chico, and his own workload was getting massive. Billy was shooting for his own sites AND the Dogfart Network of sites. That\u2019s a lot of content to maintain, so he asked if I would cut the content he owned. I said yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wait, why did I type that as if he proposed to me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n This was the summer of 2007, and, except for some breaks from the industry, I\u2019ve been cutting scenes since the final years of the George W. Bush Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So does it ever get boring? Monotonous? Painstakingly difficult?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Boring, no. Monotonous, sometimes. Difficult, only if there are technical issues that suddenly arise. I\u2019ve been fortunate to edit for Billy Watson and Romeo Mancini. I always referred to Billy as \u201cThe Mad Scientist\u201d because his creative mind NEVER ceased functioning. NEVER. No two scenes appeared to be the same. Romeo gets the absolute best out of his talent, and he\u2019s always open to creative suggestions and booking recommendations. He\u2019s a phenomenal cameraman and performer. He makes my job super easy, and I can\u2019t wait to see him enter the AVN Hall of Fame. Someday soon, I hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As I mentioned earlier, technical issues will inevitably occur\u2014it\u2019s a numbers game.
